Russia is weakening its air defense on the front lines to safeguard its “shadow fleet” in the Black and Azov Seas.

Due to systematic strikes by Ukrainian forces on Russian vessels, Russia has begun redeploying “Rubikon” unmanned system crews from the front line to protect its “shadow fleet.”
This was reported by the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madar” Brovdi.
According to the commander of the USF, on the night of July 18, Ukrainian forces hit 13 more vessels of Russia’s “shadow fleet” in the Black and Azov Seas. These include eight dry cargo ships, a tanker, a gas tanker, a tugboat, and two floating cranes.
In total, since the start of the “MoLoChKa” operation, the Unmanned Systems Forces have hit 118 Russian vessels in the Azov Sea and 54 in the Black Sea.
According to Robert Brovdi, these attacks are forcing Russians to change their priorities in air defense.
“The enemy is withdrawing up to 200 ‘Rubikon’ crews from the line of contact to protect the shadow fleet. This is calculated per live vessel. In addition to ‘Rubikon,’ which is partially withdrawn from the line of engagement, forces and assets of the entire 51st Air Defense Division and an anti-aircraft regiment of the remnants of the Black Sea Fleet are also involved. Armament includes: reconnaissance drones, MANPADS, and machine guns,” reported the Commander of the USF.
Recall that the Defense Forces continue to “play naval battle” and destroy Russian tankers of the **”shadow fleet.”** On the night of July 14, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces hit 11 more enemy targets in the waters of the Azov Sea.
In total, over the past nine days, within the framework of a special operation codenamed “MoLoChKa,” fighters have neutralized 116 RF vessels.
