The knife attack by a Lviv resident on an employee of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRSSC), who subsequently died from his stab wounds, has stirred public and military opinion.
Specifically, Viktor Burlik, a serviceman and current deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, has circulated a statement online regarding the appropriate punishment in a country at war for attacking TRSSC personnel. He published the relevant post on his Facebook page.
The serviceman shared a post on his social media page by another Lviv serviceman, Anton Petrivskyi, which states that the recent murder of a TRSSC serviceman in Lviv is horrifying. He illustrated his post with an AI-generated image that directly depicts the punishment for attackers.

“Yesterday’s attacker should not have been shot in the leg. He should have been shot as an enemy element. And his corpse should have been hung in Rynok Square with a sign saying ‘liquidated during an attack on an Armed Forces of Ukraine serviceman carrying out mobilization measures.’ Until such attackers are shot, the problem will persist. The attacker from yesterday will not see much change in his life, other than increased satisfaction from the thought that he evaded mobilization (because he will be in prison),” his publication reads.

In the comments under the post, people’s opinions were divided, with some supporting the radical actions and others being strictly against them. In particular, one user asked what to do with TRSSC employees who might be involved in murder or other crimes, to which he replied that “he had no problems with them.”
We remind you that on the night of Friday, August 21, a serviceman of the Lychakiv-Zaliznytsia District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support was fatally wounded. A Lviv resident attacked the TRSSC serviceman with a knife. A police officer, who was part of the notification team, wounded the attacker in the leg with his service weapon.
Also, on August 22 in Lviv, a man felt unwell during mobilization activities. Initially, there was information that medics could not save him, but it was later refuted by the regional TRSSC.
