Zelenskyy revealed details of the meeting with the leaders of Great Britain, France, and Germany Video 06.08.2026 02:05 Ukrinform President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed defense, the situation at the front, and the intensification of diplomacy with the leaders of Great Britain, France, and Germany.
This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“We met in the important E3 format – Ukraine. We had a substantive discussion about our defense. I informed them about the situation on the battlefield and Russian losses. For five consecutive months, the aggressor has been losing over 30,000 military personnel killed and wounded. It is important that our assessments align with those of our partners: Russia is not winning on the battlefield, and our mid-strikes and dip-strikes significantly limit its ability to expand aggression,” the message reads.
The President noted that they also discussed possible ways to intensify diplomacy and Europe’s role in this process.
“For Ukraine, it has always been a priority that Europe’s position and voice in negotiations are strong. I thank Great Britain, France, and Germany for their support and willingness to help. We agreed that the teams will work on the next steps,” Zelenskyy said.
The President thanked Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron, and Friedrich Merz for their support.
As Ukrinform reported, Great Britain, Germany, and France confirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine and discussed with the Ukrainian leader its specific forms, the need for a ceasefire along the contact line, and subsequent provision of security guarantees to Ukraine.
