Російські війська досягли успіху на одній з ділянок фронту, за оцінкою ISW

Within July 10–11, Russian forces maintained their offensive operations across several sectors, though confirmed advances were observed solely in the tactical zone between Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka.

Russian troops continued their offensive actions on numerous front lines throughout July 10 and 11; however, documented territorial gains were limited to the area encompassing Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka.

This information is detailed in a new report from the Institute for the Study of War.

In the northern Sumy Oblast, Russian units persisted in their assaults on Ukrainian positions. Nevertheless, analysts did not record any confirmed shifts in the frontline.

Similarly, the offensive maneuvers by Russian forces north and northeast of Kharkiv proved unsuccessful. No verified advancements were made in the Velykyi Burluk, Kupiansk, or Borova directions. In the latter sector, Ukrainian forces engaged in counterattacks.

On the Sloviansk axis, the Russian army also continued its assault operations but failed to achieve forward movement.

Conversely, within the Kostiantynivka–Druzhkivka tactical area, analysts identified recent advances by Russian forces. Geolocation footage released on July 10 depicted Ukrainian units counterattacking Russian positions on the southwestern outskirts of Kostiantynivka.

This evidence suggests that Russian forces now control a larger tract of territory southwest of the city than was previously assessed by ISW.

In the Dobropillia direction, the occupiers carried out offensive operations over two days but did not achieve any confirmed progress.

Limited attacks were also conducted by Russian forces in the direction of Oleksandrivka. They were unable to advance, while Ukrainian units executed counterstrikes.

One Russian military blogger claimed that Ukrainian forces counterattacked near Ivanivka, located northeast of Oleksandrivka, and allegedly advanced towards Novopavlivka. The report does not provide independent verification of this assertion.

On the Hulyaipole axis, Russian troops also continued their attacks but without achieving significant results.

Furthermore, the occupiers launched localized ground assaults west of Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region. Available data indicates that the Russian army is also deploying new attack drones in this area.

On the Kherson axis, no ground combat operations were reported by either side on July 11. Concurrently, Ukrainian forces continued their strikes against forward Russian military installations.

According to analysts, Ukrainian drone attacks have led to a shortage of boats for Russian units in the occupied parts of the Kherson region. This likely complicates Russian operational activities in the Dnipro delta.

It is recalled that earlier, Volodymyr Putin declared the alleged capture of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast by Russian forces. The Armed Forces of Ukraine refuted this claim, labeling it another instance of disinformation.

Notably, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to Putin’s statement about the supposed capture of Kostiantynivka. He remarked that if the city were under Russian control, Putin would have no difficulty meeting him there for diplomatic resolution.
