The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of six Russian tankers, two tugboats, and other assets utilized for Russian military logistics.

In the early hours of July 16th, Ukrainian forces launched strikes on several key enemy military and military-economic installations. Among the targeted objectives were tankers, tugboats, an oil depot, bridges, and a radio-electronic warfare equipment depot.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Specifically, six tankers and two tugboats were struck in the Black and Azov Seas. The General Staff emphasized that these vessels are used by Russia to transport oil and petroleum products, bypassing international sanctions, and for delivering fuel for the needs of the Russian Federation’s armed forces.
An oil depot named “Shakhtarsk,” located in temporarily occupied Shakhtarsk in the Donetsk region, was also hit.
Furthermore, Ukrainian defenders struck a road bridge near Prymorsk in the Zaporizhzhia region and the “Sivash” railway bridge near Chongar in temporarily occupied Crimea. According to the General Staff, the Russian army uses these facilities to support its military logistics.
Another target was an enemy radio-electronic warfare equipment depot near Novodaryivka in the Luhansk region.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically undertake measures aimed at halting the armed aggression of the Russian Federation,” the statement read.
Recall that due to the complete rout of their naval vessels, the occupiers fell into hysterics and resorted to unprecedented measures, involving the scarce UAV center “Rubikon” and air defense forces for the physical protection of oil tankers.
