Following the attack on the Russian capital, the Kremlin once again made dangerous insinuations regarding Ukraine.

The Kremlin reacted nervously to the drone strikes on Moscow. Russian officials, in their typical manner, once again threatened Ukraine.
This is reported in a new assessment by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Analysts emphasize that the spokesman for the “leader,” Dmitry Peskov, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov acknowledged the fact of Ukrainian strikes on Moscow on June 18 and began creating informational conditions for the continuation and intensification of strike packages against Ukraine.
Peskov stated that Russian air defense systems are working well, “despite everything.” He likely meant the large number of Ukrainian drones launched. He also stated that Russia will continue to conduct regular strikes on Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Russian military bloggers and the ultranationalist community are highlighting the successes of their air defense, expressing strong disappointment with Russian citizens who “compromised operational security” by posting videos of the strike and its aftermath online.
Furthermore, the so-called military bloggers also criticized the Russian command for not investing in air defense systems against small targets, such as UAVs. They also called for greater Russian involvement in the war effort and encouraged the continuation of attacks on Ukrainian cities to provoke mass evacuations.
“The Kremlin will likely use the Ukrainian strikes on Moscow on June 18 to justify Russia’s repeated, destructive, large-scale strike packages against Ukraine. However, the Russian military had already significantly intensified its strike campaign against Ukraine long before Kyiv carried out this attack,” emphasize American specialists.
Attack on Moscow – RF’s Reaction
The administration of “leader” Volodymyr Putin was very agitated by the strikes on Moscow, but in general, they are reluctant to comment on the attack. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, following the Ministry of Defense, boasted about the supposed “high performance of air defense forces.”
At the same time, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee, Aleksey Zhuravlev, made radical statements. He defiantly urged the authorities to “start fighting seriously,” threatening new bombings of logistics, bridges, tunnels, and railways.
