The Indian Embassy in Ukraine issued a warning to its citizens due to the threat of massive attacks by the Russian Federation in the coming days.
The relevant message appeared on May 26 on the official website of the diplomatic mission.
The diplomatic mission urged Indians residing in Ukraine to maintain vigilance and not to disregard air raid sirens.
“Given the development of the situation in the coming days, citizens of India are advised to remain vigilant and strictly follow the safety protocols issued by local authorities,” the embassy’s statement reads.
Particular attention was paid to the necessity of adhering to all safety recommendations from the Ukrainian authorities.
The foreign embassy’s warning came amid reports of Russia possibly preparing new massive strikes on the territory of Ukraine. In recent days, the Russian Federation has been regularly attacking Ukrainian cities with drones and missiles, and air raid sirens have been announced in most regions of the country.
