On the night of June 8, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a series of Russian fuel and energy infrastructure targets. Specifically, strikes were carried out on the “Grushevaya” oil depot, the “Krasnoarmeysk” NPS (nefteperakachivayushchaya stantsiya – oil pumping station), and the “Krasny Yar” LVDS (liniyno-dispetcherskaya stantsiya – linear dispatch station).

Following additional reconnaissance, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clarified the results of the strike on three targets in Russia.

It is known that at the “Grushevaya” transshipment oil depot in the vicinity of the settlement of Grushevaya Balka in Krasnodar Krai, the ignition of two oil reservoirs has been confirmed. Damage to infrastructure used for assessing the quality of oil products has also been recorded.

Furthermore, at the “Krasnoarmeysk” oil pumping station in Saratov Oblast, the combustion of two oil reservoirs, each with a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters, has been confirmed.

The consequences of the strike on the “Krasny Yar” linear production and dispatch station in Volgograd Oblast have also been clarified. There, according to the Ukrainian military, one oil reservoir with a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters is burning.

“Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to inflict losses on the critically important fuel-energy and logistical infrastructure of the aggressor state, which ensures the conduct of war against Ukraine,” the statement reads.

Earlier, Radio Liberty, citing satellite image analysis, reported that Ukraine’s Defense Forces had already attacked the “Grushevaya” oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai twice. Following the strikes on May 25 and June 8, it is estimated that 10 to 15 fuel reservoirs were damaged or destroyed. “Grushevaya” is considered one of the largest oil product storage facilities in the Caucasus and is located near Novorossiysk. The facility covers an area of over 212 hectares, with a total reservoir park capacity exceeding 1.2 million cubic meters of oil and petroleum products.

Additionally, on the night of June 10, Ukrainian forces struck a number of military and fuel-energy facilities in the Russian Federation. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a Ukrainian long-range missile, the FP-5 “Flamingo,” hit a military factory in Cheboksary. According to him, the enterprise produces components for Russian drones and missiles.

The “Kuibyshevsky” oil refinery in Samara Oblast, located more than 900 kilometers from the front line, was also hit. According to the president, the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine) hit two oil infrastructure facilities in Vladimir Oblast, Russia.

At the same time, the SBU reported hitting the “Vtorovo” and “Lobkovo” oil pumping stations in Vladimir Oblast, Russia.
