American right-wing activist and ally of US President Donald Trump, Laura Loomer, has urged an investigation into the sudden death of Senator Lindsey Graham, suggesting that poisoning, potentially involving Russia or Iran, could be the cause.
She made these statements in a series of posts on the X platform.
The activist noted that shortly before his death, Lindsey Graham visited Ukraine, where he advocated for stronger sanctions against Russia and expressed support for a relevant White House bill.
“Did Russia just poison Lindsey Graham? This really needs to be investigated,” Loomer wrote.
She also recalled that, according to her, a Russian delegation attended the funeral of Iran’s supreme leader, during which calls were allegedly made for the assassination of Loomer herself, President Donald Trump, and Senator Graham.
“Lindsey Graham was in Ukraine just yesterday… Now he suddenly dies of an alleged accidental illness… Did Russia just kill a US senator?” the activist posed a rhetorical question.
In another post, Loomer asserted that the ideologue of “Rashism,” Alexander Dugin, had previously called for the murder of the American senator.
To support her claim, she published Dugin’s social media post, in which he advocated for Graham’s death, and noted that his elimination had been repeatedly discussed on Russian television.
Subsequently, the activist reported that her calls for an investigation were being actively quoted by Iranian media and emphasized the need for a toxicological examination.
“A toxicology report must be done immediately. Threats to his life skyrocketed earlier this week. This is not a conspiracy theory. We need to know if he was targeted by Iran or Russia. There is enough evidence to warrant an investigation,” Loomer wrote.
In a separate message, she also called it “highly suspicious” that, according to her, Russian state media were spreading reports about celebrations of the senator’s death in Iran.
Who is Laura Loomer?
Laura Loomer is an American right-wing activist who supports Donald Trump and has repeatedly drawn attention with controversial statements.
Notably, she previously claimed that the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks were an “inside job.”
Her Twitter account was banned due to anti-Muslim posts, but access was restored after Elon Musk acquired the social network.
Lately, Loomer has also expressed doubts about the sincerity of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s support for Donald Trump during the 2016 US presidential campaign. In her opinion, this could have been part of a “psychological operation” aimed at influencing American conservatives.
Recall that Republican Senator Lindsey Graham passed away on the evening of July 11 after a sudden, brief illness. The politician had influenced US foreign policy for decades, was one of the most consistent critics of the Kremlin, and even during difficult periods in relations between Kyiv and Washington, continued to advocate for military aid to Ukraine and increased sanctions against Russia.
A few days before his death, **Graham visited Kyiv** and spoke with Ukrainian journalists.
