Росія втрачає динаміку у конфлікті: Зеленський повідомив про оперативну обстановку на лінії фронту

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that while it is too early to speak of a complete defeat for the Kremlin, the Russian army is suffering colossal losses and is losing its advantage on the battlefield daily.

The Russian Federation is gradually losing the initiative in the full-scale war against Ukraine, and the situation on the front for the Defense Forces is significantly better now than at the beginning of the Russian invasion.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in an interview with the authoritative British publication The Guardian.

“The initiative is being lost day by day”

The Head of State emphasized that despite all the difficulties, the dynamics of combat operations show the exhaustion of the enemy’s offensive potential. At the same time, Zelenskyy called for realistic assessments of the situation, noting that it is difficult to speak of absolute optimism during active hostilities, as Ukraine’s ultimate goal is the complete end of the war.

“We cannot say that Russia is losing this war, but we can say that it is losing the initiative day by day,” the president stressed.

According to Zelenskyy, the current situation on the front lines for Ukraine appears much better and more stable than two and a half years ago when the country was holding back the first massive attacks by the occupiers.

Tremendous losses for the RF and the search for diplomatic solutions

The President also highlighted that the army of the aggressor country continues to suffer colossal losses in manpower and equipment as it tries to hold positions or advance in certain areas.

In parallel with strengthening its defense, Ukraine is actively working on the diplomatic front. Zelenskyy noted that Kyiv continues to seek various negotiation formats and involve international partners to achieve a just peace and the final cessation of Russian aggression.

Recall that, according to military-political observer Oleksandr Kovalenko, the spring offensive campaign of the Russian troops turned out to be a failure, and May became a particularly unsuccessful month for the invaders.
