Russia has established new launch sites for drones in three regions, including the construction of the “world’s largest droneport,” which facilitates the mass deployment of UAVs bypassing Ukrainian air defenses through Belarusian airspace.

Russia has set up at least five new launch pads for attack drones near its border with Belarus.
This was reported by the Belarusian service of “Radio Liberty,” based on an analysis of satellite imagery and open-source data. The new facilities are located in the Bryansk, Oryol, and Smolensk regions of the Russian Federation. Some of these appeared just a few dozen kilometers from the Belarusian border. The largest complex, near the village of Tsymbulova in the Oryol region, has been described by Russian media as the “world’s largest droneport.”
According to Ukrainian military intelligence, the majority of Russian drones used in mass attacks transit through Belarus or follow routes along the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states that this tactic complicates the operations of Ukrainian air defense systems.

Belarus itself acknowledges that drones violate the country’s airspace practically daily. In just one week in May, 116 such incidents were recorded.

Previously, we reported that Russia was relocating military helicopters to Belarus. Belarusian public and political figure Sergey Bulba expressed the opinion that this is another provocation by Putin, aimed at diverting Ukrainian forces towards the Belarusian border.
