In the early hours of June 6th, Ukrainian drones struck naval fleet arsenals and bases in Kronstadt, near St. Petersburg. The drones covered a distance of approximately 1000 kilometers.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“It is time to end this war. But the Russian leadership wants to fight. Therefore, Ukrainian sanctions are working for this aggression,” the head of state stressed.
According to him, the drones flew a thousand kilometers to the St. Petersburg region, as well as half a thousand kilometers to the Krasnodar region, where they hit an oil depot.
Zelensky emphasized that attacks on facilities deep within the Russian Federation are important results of the joint work of the Armed Forces, the Security Service, and the Main Intelligence Directorate.
“Russia needs to end its war and stop striking at life. Any manifestation of injustice against Ukraine will receive a just response,” the president declared.
