The Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zhelezniak has appealed to the SBU to verify the connections of Andriy Yermak’s interlocutor with representatives of the aggressor country and foreign special services.

The SBU lacks information regarding potential ties of Veronika Anikievich, who was mentioned in NABU case materials under the informal name “Veronika Feng Shui,” with Russian special services, or any other influence on this person’s activities by the aggressor state.
This is stated in the SBU’s response to the inquiry from Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zhelezniak, which he published on his Telegram channel.
According to the MP, he approached the SBU two weeks ago, requesting an investigation into possible contacts of an individual he described as “effectively determining the country’s personnel policy,” concerning links with representatives of the aggressor country and foreign special services.
The SBU’s response, published by Zhelezniak, states: “We inform you that information regarding the possible connections of the indicated person with representatives of Russian special services, in particular the FSB of the Russian Federation, as well as possible other influence from the aggressor state on her activities, is absent within the Security Service of Ukraine.”

At the same time, the Member of Parliament stated that, in his opinion, the response does not provide a clear understanding of the nature of the verification. He elaborated that it remains unclear whether the SBU conducted an investigation and found no confirmation of such ties, or if it merely indicates the absence of relevant information within the Ukrainian intelligence agency’s possession.
Earlier, Veronika Anikievich’s name was mentioned in NABU investigation materials concerning the former head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak. Following this, a public discussion arose regarding her potential influence on personnel decisions and the necessity of verifying possible connections with representatives of the aggressor state.
Yermak’s Communication with “Veronika Feng Shui” – What is Known
As a reminder, during a court hearing in Andriy Yermak’s case, prosecutors stated that the former head of the President’s Office consulted on ministerial appointments with a contact named “Veronika Feng Shui Office.”
Subsequently, journalists identified the person behind this nickname as Veronika Anikievich (also using the surname Danylenko), a resident of Kyiv who identifies herself as an astrology consultant.
In an interview with journalists, Andriy Yermak dismissed accusations of resorting to occult or esoteric practices in his work, labeling such suggestions as baseless.
The former high-ranking official’s lawyer, Ihor Fomin, stated that Andriy Yermak’s communication with Veronika Anikievich was purely personal in nature.
