The grandson of the late Grandpa Tolya, who now lives in Canada, posted a touching birthday greeting for his grandmother Olya on social media. Despite thousands of kilometers separating them, the man mentioned that he speaks with his grandmother on the phone every day.
The grandson published a post dedicated to the birthday of his grandmother Olya – the widow of his late grandfather, whom many remember as the blogger “Ded Tolya” (Grandpa Tolya).
“Today is my grandmother Olya’s birthday. Grandma is one of the strongest and kindest women I know. As Grandpa used to say – she has quite a character. But I want to wish her the most important things – health, strength, and patience,” the grandson wrote.
“There are no perfect families”
Without hiding the truth, the blogger honestly admitted that “everything has happened” in the family – quarrels and misunderstandings. However, according to him, the main thing remains unchanged: his grandmother never betrayed her love for her husband.
“There are no perfect families. We had our share of everything: quarrels, harsh words, misunderstandings. Grandpa also had quite a character. But I know one thing for sure – Grandma truly loved him. She always worried about him, helped him, cooked for him, took care of him, and was always by his side,” the grandson confessed.

Although the man is currently overseas, it does not prevent them from maintaining a warm connection. Phone conversations have become their daily ritual, and mutual support is what keeps the family together even at a distance.

“Now we talk on the phone almost every day. She supports me, motivates me, and always worries about me. What I want most is for us to see each other again, hug, and spend many good moments together. Grandma, I wish you strong health, peace, strength, patience, and many, many more years of life. I love you very much. Happy birthday, Grandma Olya,” the grandson concluded.
The post quickly touched the hearts of netizens, who wished Grandma Olya good health and long life in the comments.
