The Princess of Wales has likely never met her niece, Princess Lilibet, in person since her birth in the USA in 2021.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are due to arrive in the UK in a few days. The Sussexes’ big move presents an opportunity for reconciliation after years of estrangement and strained relationships within the royal family. It is believed that Prince William and Princess Kate have yet to meet Prince Harry’s second child, Princess Lilibet, who was born in the USA in 2021. Hello Magazine reports this.
Kate Middleton to Meet Lilibet for the First Time
Journalists once asked Princess Kate if she had video-called her young relative. She replied, “No. No.”
The royal then added, “I wish her all the best. I can’t wait to meet her because we haven’t… haven’t met her yet, so hopefully, that will happen soon.”

Now, five years later, a meeting may be possible as the family arrives in the UK for an extended period.
Royal author Russell Myers revealed that William and Kate sent a gift to the USA when Lilibet was born: “When Harry and Meghan celebrated the birth of their daughter Lilibet on June 4, 2021, William and Catherine sent a gift and a congratulatory card.”
Harry and Meghan travelled to the UK with both their children in June 2022 for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the late Queen Elizabeth II. During the family’s visit, Lilibet, who was one year old at the time, met her great-grandmother and her grandfather, King Charles, in person for the first time. However, it is believed that Harry and William’s families did not meet privately.

King Charles was informed of his son’s unexpected relocation plans just three days before the news became public. The 77-year-old monarch is reportedly delighted at the prospect of seeing his relatives.
Conversely, Prince William is said to be less than thrilled.
